Jamestown College head volleyball coach Jon Hegerle announced that Allison Barta of West Fargo signed a Letter of Intent to enroll at Jamestown College next year and play volleyball for the Jimmies. She will graduate this spring from West Fargo High School.

Barta is an All-Conference, All-State and All-Tournament selection for the Packers. Coach Hegerle stated that her athleticism, skill set, and competitiveness will be a great addition to Jimmie volleyball.

"Allison's development in the West Fargo volleyball program has prepared her well for competing at the collegiate level," Hegerle said. "In working with Allison at a number of camps last summer and watching her compete her senior year, it quickly became apparent that we wanted her to become a Jimmie. Allison truly has the tools to be an impact player in our league, and I am looking forward to helping her reach her potential at Jamestown College."

Barta plans to major in Nursing at Jamestown College. She is the daughter of Chris and Hope Barta and Wendy Barta.

Jamestown College head volleyball coach Jon Hegerle announced that Robin Weber of Linton signed a Letter of Intent to enroll at Jamestown College next year and play volleyball for the Jimmies.

Weber, a five-foot-eight outside hitter, recorded 370 kills (.226 hitting percentage), 310 digs, 83 aces and 25 blocks her senior season at Linton High School.

"We are excited that Robin has chosen to join the Jimmie volleyball program," Hegerle said. "Having two brothers who played Jimmie football, Robin is very familiar with Jimmie athletics and Jamestown College. In working with Robin over the past few summers at our summer volleyball camps, it became evident that Robin is a fierce competitor as well as an accomplished athlete. More importantly, she also understands what it takes to be a great teammate as well as a successful student athlete."

Weber has also been active in basketball, track, National Honor Society, FCCLA, band, choir and drama. She plans to major in nursing at Jamestown College. She is the daughter of Robert and Marlys Weber.
