Princess Dance Camp

The Jamestown College Knight Line Dance Team invites you to:

Location: Hansen Center Gym @ Jamestown College

Cost: $20.00 per princess, $25.00 after 12/1/11 or @ the door

The newly formed Jamestown College Dance Team taught and performed with aspiring dancers at the Anne Carlsen Center.

The one day camp took place on Saturday, Sept. 24 and was offered to Girl Scout Troupe 30984 which includes several ACC clients. Coaching was provided by Dance Team Director Kimberly Williams and her 11-member team.

"It was a great experience for our girls to share their love of dance with kids who are new to this level of instruction," Williams said. "Our team was challenged to design dance moves for the client's ability levels and to finish the routines in the time we had available."

Participants played dance games and performed freestyle dance before breaking up into smaller groups. Each team developed its own unique moves and had a chance to perform them at the end of the day.
