
Chelsie Fleming's fast start earned her All-American honors.
Fleming won her first two matches by fall, but then lost three straight, including getting pinned in the fifth-place match.
But the 191-pound sophomore from Fossford, Ohio, pinned her first two opponents in less than three minutes to advance in the winner's bracket at the WCWA National Tournament in Bristol, Tenn.
The top six placers in each weight class earn All-American honors.
Fleming's sixth-place finish helped the Jimmies to an 11th-place finish overall with 3 points in the 15-team meet.
Oklahoma City won the team title with 141 points.
Seven other Jimmies competed in the meet.
Michelle Canete (116), Serrina Smith (136), and Shai Mason (136) each went 2-2 in the meet. Both wins by Smith and Mason were by pin.
Nichole Yarrington (109) went 1-2, while Gabriela Urzola (109), Catherine Kelly (116), and Erie Bragg (170) competed, but were 0-2.

The Jamestown College women's weekend was filled with wrestling in Springfield, Illinois.
Here is the final bracket for the women; Oklahoma City defeated King College 25-14 in the championship match and showed why they have the # 1 ranking in the nation.

The Jimmie women opened up their tournament against King College on Saturday, January 7. King College was ranked second in the WCWA (Women's College Wrestling Association) poll of December 8, 2011, while Jamestown was ranked eighth.
