The Knight Line Dance is currently recruiting 24 young women for the 2012-2013 season! Interested dancers should complete the on-line application for admission. The application is free of charge and does not commit you to Jamestown College or the Knight Line Dance Team, but allows the transfer of materials to present you with an academic award package. Dancers qualify for athletic dance scholarships ranging from $500-$2,500 per dancer annually. On campus auditions can be scheduled with the Dance Team Director prior to the April 21, 2012 audition day to receive an athletic scholarship offer continent upon completing the admission process and signing a letter of intent to dance. Otherwise, dancers should plan on attending one of 2 audition clinics offered April 7, 2012 6-9pm or April 14 6-9pm at a cost of $5 each to gain clearance to audition. Out-of-state auditions via video submission are accepted and are time sensitive. Out-of-state audition information is located under the Records tab on the Knight Line webpage. The 2012-2013 Knight Line Dance Team will be announced May 1st, 2012 via the Jamestown College Athletic Website. Individuals will be contacted personally later that week to relate pertinent information. Members of the 2012-2013 team should plan on attending college dance camp August 1-6, 2012.
