
Coach Bormann comes to Jamestown College from Lakeland College, Sheboygan, Wis., where he was head men's golf coach and assistant men's basketball coach for three seasons.
In 2010, Bormann was named NAC Coach of the Year after leading the Muskies to a tie for third place in the NAC Tournament and a first-place finish in a NAC-sanctioned Marian University Invite.
In Bormann's three years at the helm of the program, the team was honored with four All-Conference selections.
A Detroit Lakes, Minn., native, Bormann was a member of the men's golf team while earning a bachelor's degree in biology and education with a coaching endorsement from Concordia College-Moorhead in 2006. Bormann completed his master's degree from Augustana College (SD) in 2008. He and his wife, Cheryl, were married in 2007.
