Chris Hoke is the Chief Informational Officer and Director of eSports at the University of Jamestown. He has over 19 years of experience in the field of Information Technology as well as other areas of interest at the University. He teaches in the Character in Leadership program along with a couple of courses in the Computer Science department.
Chris has been very involved with the University’s mission to Chogoria, Kenya. He was a leader of the inaugural inter-disciplinary trip in the spring of 2011 and returned as a leader in 2012 and 2016. He is planning to return again this upcoming May of 2017.
Chris is a graduate of the University of Jamestown with a Bachelor of Arts in Religion/Philosophy and is currently finishing his Master of Arts in Leadership from the university as well.
In his spare time, Chris likes to read, paint miniature figures, and play video games. Some of his favorite games through the years have been World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, Diablo, the Dragon Age Series, and The Elder Scrolls series.
Josh Knutson is University of Jamestown’s current Social Media Specialist. Knutson is a December 2015 graduate of UJ’s Mass Communication program where he specialized in strategic communication and public relations. He specializes in visual social media, especially YouTube, and has added many different video projects, including a docuseries and live streaming, to the university’s repitore. He was a member of the UJ Habitat for Humanity team, and was a 4-year collegiate athlete; participating in Cross Country and Track & Field and served as a Cross Country captain for 2 years.
In his spare time, Josh enjoys hunting, fishing, reading, playing sports, and playing video games. Some of his favorities include Pokemon, Final Fantasy, the Uncharted series, and The Division.
