Bridget Schuneman was named an honorable mention All-American from the JC women's team.

The 6-foot junior from Lino Lakes, Minnesota, was the only Jimmie to average in double figures this season at 12.9 points per game.

She shot 56 percent from the floor for the Jimmies, who went 27-5 and set a new single-season record for wins in a season.

Jamestown College defeated Union. Ky., in their opening game at the national tournament March 7 before losing to eventual national champion Northwestern (Iowa) in the Sweet 16 two days later.

Valley City State junior guard Sekani Milligen was the only other DAC player selected.

Milligen, who averaged 18.9 ppg, was named to the men's honorable mention team.

The Jimmies have had five NAIA All-Americans this year: Aleona Reyes (Cross Country), Sarah Becker (Volleyball), Pat Nord (Wrestling), Travis Burley (Men's Basketball), and Bridget Schuneman (Women's Basketball).

Chelsie Fleming also earned WCWA (Women's College Wrestling Association) All-American honors for the Jimmies.
