The Cavalier, N.D., product won her second straight high jump outing. She actually tied with teammate Mallory Johannes at 5-1.75.

Their other win came in the 4x400 relay as Kayla Byle, Ashley Cooper, Stephanie Erlandson, and Alyssa Sanders edged Northern State's top foursome, 4:18.30 to 4:18.89.

"Although we only won three events, we did experience a lot of improvements when compared to our performance at Bemidji a week ago," said Jimmie head coach Jim Clark. "We got a little better (Saturday) and our freshmen just looked more confident in what they were doing."

One of those first-year performers - Taylor Miller - placed third in the 55 (7.80) and 200 (27.59).

All-American cross country runner Aleona Reyes was second in the mile after winning last week. She ran a more strategic race Clark said and finished closely behind Minot State star Courtney Schall, 5:18.45 to 5:19.24.

Reyes was also fifth in the pole vault (8-6.25).

Jill Gustafson, another freshman, was second in the triple (34-2.25), which was a 2-foot improvement from the first week.

Josie Bopp (triple jump 32-11.25), Cooper (55 hurdles 9.2), Mallory Souder (800 2.29.13) had one third each.
