ST. PAUL, Minn.-- Caelie Williams (JR/Pierre, S.D.) scored her first career goal to help the Jimmie women's soccer team to a 1-0 victory over Northwestern-St. Paul College Monday evening.
Jamestown (6-3-1) won for the second time in three matches after dropping three of their previous four.
Williams scored in the 65th minute to give Jamestown a 1-0 lead.
The Jimmies outshot Northwestern-St. Paul 16-2 (9-1 on goal) in the first half but had to settle for a 0-0 scoreline at the break.
Lauren Sayler (JR/Bismarck, ND) made five saves in her fourth clean sheet of the year. Samantha Dewey made 19 saves for the Eagles.
Final shots were 31-9 (20-6 on goal) in favor of Jamestown. Corner kicks were even at four a piece.
