CRETE, Neb.-- Matt Young (JR/Woodland, Wash.) finished third out of 98 runners at the Dean White Invitational, hosted by Doane (Neb.) University on Saturday.
Young's time of 27 minutes, 30.45 seconds was not a personal best, but still a respectable time given that temperatures at race time were in the low 90s.

The Jimmies finished 7th of nine teams in the event. Doane (Neb.) was first with 40 points, followed by Dordt (Iowa) with 74 points, and York College with 80.
