JAMESTOWN-- The Jimmie football team takes to the road for the first time in 2017, playing at Mitchell, S.D., Saturday against the 17th-ranked Dakota Wesleyan (S.D.) University Tigers. Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m.
Jamestown (0-2) is looking for its first win of the season after dropping its season opener against Hastings (Neb.) 31-3 and falling to top-ranked Saint Francis (Ind.) last week 55-7.
Dakota Wesleyan (1-1) is averaging nearly 50 points a contest in its first two games. The Tigers lost a 56-39 opening week contest to Dakota State (S.D.) but rebounded with a dominating 60-14 win over University of Saint Mary last Saturday.

UJ and DWU will be meeting for the second consecutive season and the 25th time in school history. The Tigers beat the Jimmies 55-17 in Jamestown last season to even the series at 12 wins each.
