JOHNSON CITY, Tenn.-- The 2017 NAIA Indoor Track & Field Championships, held at David E. Walker Track, concluded Saturday with two Jimmies adding All-American honors to their accomplishments.
Rachel Heuchert (SR/Browerville, Minn.) placed 7th in the 600 meter run, turning in a time of 1:38.67 to earn All-American honors for the first time in her career.
Kaiann Arellano (JR/Jamestown, N.D.), who finished 7th in the pentathlon on day one, finished 8th in the high jump and became All-American in two events at this year's meet. She cleared 1.65m (5 feet, 5 inches), just .06m off of her personal best.
Indiana Tech won the team title with 75 points, followed by Oklahoma City with 59 and Wayland Baptist (Texas) with 40. Jamestown was tied for 37th with five points.
