Jimmie Tradition: Combining Academic and Competition

The University of Jamestown proudly offers eight (8) men's and eight (8) women's sports:  golf, basketball, cross country, track & field, soccer, football, volleyball, wrestling, softball, and baseball.  Six of these sports offer JV level competition schedules:  baseball, softball, men's and women's basketball, men's soccer, and volleyball.

The University of Jamestown is an NAIA affiliated school of approximately 980 students located in Jamestown, North Dakota.

The University of Jamestown Jimmies compete in the North Star Athletic Association (NSAA).  Other members of this conference are Valley City State, Mayville State, Dakota State, and Presentation College.  Waldorf will join the NSAA for Football in Fall 2014, while Dickinson State will be a full member starting July 1, 2014.

The University of Jamestown (formerly known as Jamestown College) has been recognized as a Top Tier school in US News and World Report's "Best Colleges 2014." Jamestown is the highest ranked Top Tier North Dakota college or university. This is the seventh straight year Jamestown has received this recognition.
